- 500 gm mutton
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cinnamon stick
- 3-4 cloves
- 3-4 black pepper
- 1 tbsp cumin seeds
- 2 medium size onion sliced
- 2 medium size tomato chopped
- 2 tbsp Kashmiri red chilli powder
- 1/2 tbsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- to taste Salt
- as needed Oil
Instructions to make to make Mutton curry
- First, wash the mutton pieces and boil in a pan with water for 10 minutes.

- Heat oil in a pressure cooker add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cloves, black pepper, cumin and cook for a minute.


- Add chopped ginger and garlic fry for 1 minute. Add sliced onion and cook until onion turns pink.



- Add Kashmiri red chilli powder and 2 medium-size tomatoes chopped. Cook tomatoes for 2 whistle.



- Once the tomatoes are cooked mash well with a masher or with a spoon.


- Add meat pieces, haldi powder, coriander powder and salt 6-7 whistles. Add 2 cups water and mix well. Cover, simmer and allow the meat to cook on low flame until mutton gets cooked.



- Once the curry is cooked turn off the flame and serve hot.
